Experimental and theoretical investigations of traditional solar still productivity in cold climatic

Abstract Solar distillation is an important technology to get potable water from saltwater using clean and free solar energy. In the current study, experimental theoretical investigation of a single-slope traditional still was carried out, freshwater productivity thermal efficiency were evaluated for four typical days (19/06, 17/07, 22/08, 15/09) 2019 by implementing temperature parameters in different points still, weather such as radiation, ambient air temperature. The study showed acceptable agreement between results with average 6.6% measured deviation data. It noticed that highest values recorded on July 17, 2019.
